gonna do a short blog here… been kind of cold and rainy, calling for more tomorrow and tomorrow night.. not a whole lot to blog about…. was checking out the music selection and decided on Johnny Rivers today… had some hits while I was in Vietnam…

The weather folks are calling mainly for rain in this area at this time… thinking the severe stuff will stay to the south… here is a map from the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla…. it is effective from 7 AM Wednesday morning to 7 AM Thursday morning, Central Daylight Savings Time… it is subject to change, of course…
Got out and about a short while ago and found this artificial palm tree growing a ear of corn…
actually one of Attilia’s offspring decided to use it as a hiding place… wonder how long it will take before he remembers where it is.. probably move it before then… also have had a few folks ask how my tomatoes are doing… not to bad so far..
also decided to start some Roma tomatoes, we like them on salads and they are easy to grow in a pot… you can see the tray to the left of other tomatoes… got a couple of hummingbird feeders out…..
as soon as I see evidence they are around I’ll put more out… was inside getting some lunch when I saw a cardinal on the suet feeder…
there are quite a few of them around at the moment.. a lot of the migratory songbirds are starting to increase in numbers also… just need a little more of a warm up… had 30F degrees this morning… if you folks find running the vacuum sweeper a little boring you need to get you a Jack Russell as the following video will show… Bree just jumps at it and barks, but have to watch Miss Daisy because she will grab it…
Good afternoon Dutch. Sure hope the rain stays south of us. We've had more than our share. I sure enjoy Johnny Rivers,he's one of my favorite singers. I see you have hummingbirds already! Ours don;t get here untill april 11th. Eventally we wind up with about 200 . Keeps me busy for sure! Well hope your day goes fine.

Gooooooooooood afternoon young lady... we don't need anymore rain either... any May flowers that come up now will have to now how to swim.. ..We don't have any hummers yet either but I'll put a couple out around this time of year to attract any that might be coming through...once I see the first one then I'll put the rest out...
