Had a busy weekend cleaning up debris and getting outdoor items put up for the winter. Maybe some rain today and then the cool down will start signaling the approach of winter one day. Been working on Halloween decorations to get ready for the holiday, some outdoor; Haven't finished the outdoor because of the storm system but will start to finish tomorrow so we're ready for Halloween. Here are some inside decorations in various stages of completion; Well, I had better go finish the day and get ready for tomorrow, will be a busy one. Haven't been around much, been getting ready for the winter season in the yard and because of the unseasonably warm weather have been under a threat of severe weather for the last couple of days. Yesterday it finally stormed here but not as serious as it could have been. Here are a few photos; So have spent today cleaning up there area before continuing on with the Halloween decorations. I see the storms have moved east so I hope all you folks in the east stay safe and stay dry. That's about all for today as I'm going to eat supper and call it a day. Didn't do a whole lot this weekend with the weather being so warm and needed a break from the labor of the week anyway. Did a few projects outside before the warmup and then move indoors. It appears we're inbetween fall and summer at the moment with leaves starting to fall from some of the trees but my flowers are still going strong; You can see two types of roses that are blooming and behind them are a couple of hibiscus that just finished up the other day. The hibicus on the east side of the house is still going none stop at this time; A front should pass through tonight with some possible thunderstorms and hopefully bring some cooler seasonably air with it so we can get in the fall mood here. Well, that's about it for today. Have some small projects to get finished and get ready to send observer reports to the National Weather Service this afternoon if needed.
