Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Was pleasant here temperature wise but a little stormy at times, none serious. Will have a chance of more storms later! Been busy preparing decor for the house this weekend. As you know, we decorate for the seasons with holidays during the season. Thanksgiving is a fall holiday, Xmas is a winter holiday, etc. so we go from season to season and put in holidays as they occur. Soooooooooooo right now we're going on a transition from fall; which will stay there for the most part till around Thanksgiving and then like this seaport; winter will gradually take over and later some xmas decorations will start to show up. I spent yesterday making the foam bases to represent snow. Last week it was a summer/fall mix. For the most part it will stay there till Feb. Also starting working om my winter/xmas scene using a N guage train; Worked on it a little yesterday till Kathy was ready in the living room for the foam; Checked out some of the garland and vines. Most of this will stay till well after Jan. because it is winter. We just use lights during xmas to accent. This year going to work with candles. This is just a small part, the tub the garland is in is a 30 gal. Rubbermaid. Well, better scoot. Just wanted to update you folks a little on the preperations for winter and the holidays. Checked out the radar and have some potential storms moving in this direction so getting my observer station set up. Soooooooooo, you folks have a smilin' gooooooooood day full of peace, love and happiness and I'll see ya next time if the good Lord's willin' and the creeks don't rise!

You may have noticed that I have removed some of my posts. They are not permanetly removed, just wanted to get them out of the way of the Xmas decorations. If anyone wishes to see them, please let me know. I suspect your wandering what the above photo has to do with anything. Well, it's about to become a Xmas decoration. I will keep you updated on the progress. Need a couple more parts and then finish it up. The center piece is the tree you see.Isn't it the mostest, bestest, wonderfulest, puuuuuuurrrtiest tree you every saw??? Had the first casualty of the season when I opened the first tub. A Santa had it's arm broken. Soooooooo broke out the repair kit with the super glue and started in; Gave it a little time to set while I replace a ballast in the kitchen light. Put Santa together and viola! Fixed!!! Well, got the internet problem figured out with the modem so shoule be good to go now.
